About the client
Amway is an international manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods: personal care, cosmetics, household products. The business model is built on Amway Business Owners (ABOs), who build their own businesses on the company’s products and infrastructure.
In Kazakhstan the company operates as Amway Kazakhstan LLP.
Challenges
- Acts and invoices for more than 5,000 entrepreneurs: every document has to travel to the counterparty and back.
- An entrepreneur is paid only after the documents are closed — a paper delay hits their money directly.
- Company management signed acts one by one, turning the signature into a bottleneck.
- The counterparty is usually a sole proprietor without a corporate document system: a solution requiring deployment on their side would not take off.
How it works
All the complexity stays on Amway’s side; the counterparty only signs: an act is created in the internal system, goes to d8n and reaches the entrepreneur in Doculite, where they sign it with their own digital signature.
The key detail is batch signing: management signs up to 500 acts in one action.
For Amway’s counterparties the service is free: Doculite requires nothing but a digital signature, which the entrepreneur already has.
The national exchange centre is connected; integration with Amway’s internal accounting system passes generated acts and invoices into the e-document contour automatically, with no re-entry.

Results
- Over 5,000 independent Amway business owners in Kazakhstan sign acts and e-invoices electronically (Documentolog data).
- Up to 500 acts are signed by management in one action instead of one by one.
- Deployment took 1 month.
- The service is free for Amway’s counterparties — the onboarding barrier for sole proprietors is removed.
Who it is for
Relevant if you have many individual and sole-proprietor counterparties: direct selling, franchising, agent networks, marketplaces, insurance. Where to start: count how long it takes from creating an act to both signatures — and remember that mass external exchange only takes off where the other side needs nothing but the digital signature they already have.
Questions and answers
How do you sign acts with sole-proprietor counterparties who have no document system?
Via Doculite: the counterparty signs the document with their own digital signature, with no deployment on their side. Free for Amway’s counterparties.
Can many acts be signed at once rather than one by one?
Yes: batch signing — up to 500 acts in one action.
How long does deploying external e-document exchange take?
In the Amway project, deployment took one month.
Security and legal validity
- Certified under ST RK ISO/IEC 15408-3-2017, assurance level EAL 4 (No. KZ.7500186.05.01.69209, valid until 26 May 2029); a digital signature has the force of a handwritten one under the Law of Kazakhstan “On Electronic Documents and Digital Signatures”.
- Rights in the system equal the employee’s rights; operations are recorded in the audit log. Legally binding correspondence with government bodies goes through the national e-document exchange, with no paper duplicates. Data is processed and stored in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
