National Bank of Kazakhstan and Documentolog sign a strategic partnership memorandum

On 11 September 2026, at the Central Asia Fintech Summit, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Documentolog signed a memorandum on strategic partnership. The document was signed by Binur Zhalenov, Deputy Governor of the National Bank; Argyn Kentbekov, Chairman of the Management Board of the National Bank’s Digital Solutions Centre JSC; and Baizhan Kanafin, CEO of Documentolog.

The partnership covers three areas.

AI agents in internal processes

The National Bank will use the d8n.ai platform and AI agents to automate its internal business processes. This is not a chatbot bolted on from the side, but agents embedded in real processes and operating under control: data does not leave the organisation’s perimeter, agent permissions are bound by the same role-based access model as employees’, significant actions are confirmed by a human, and every action is recorded in the audit log.

Training for the Digital Solutions Centre

Documentolog will transfer the platform’s methodology and tooling to the National Bank’s Digital Solutions Centre so that the Centre’s team can build and develop AI agents on its own. Documentolog’s experience shows that agents are deployed not by the vendor but by the team inside the organisation — and that team determines the result.

Joint solutions for the financial sector

The parties will develop joint solutions — first for organisations within the National Bank’s perimeter, then for Kazakhstan’s financial sector as a whole. Processes proven within the partnership will become standard solutions on the d8n.ai platform.

About d8n.ai

d8n.ai is a multi-agent AI Business Operating System launched by Documentolog in December 2025 on top of a platform that has served 150,000 organisations in Kazakhstan since 2007. d8n AI agents are embedded in an organisation’s business processes and perform routine operations under human supervision. Organisations with elevated security requirements can deploy inside a closed perimeter.

Signing the memorandum: Argyn Kentbekov, Binur Zhalenov, Baizhan Kanafin

“For us, this partnership is a test of our approach to AI by the most demanding customer in the country. The National Bank is not adding AI on the side — it is adopting agents embedded in real processes, under strict control. That is exactly how we build d8n. Everything we prove on the National Bank’s processes will become available to every customer of the platform,” — Baizhan Kanafin, CEO of Documentolog.

The company will report on the first results of the partnership as the first processes are automated.
